शिवसेना शिंदे गटातील खासदार संजय देशमुख यांनी लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिर्ला यांनी सहा खासदारांच्या गटाला मान्यता दिल्याबद्दल आभार मानले. कायदेशीर प्रक्रिया पूर्णपणे समजून घेतल्यानंतरच शिंदे गटात सहभागी झाल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. स्पीकरांच्या निर्णयाचा सन्मान करत असताना आवश्यक असल्यास उच्च न्यायालयात जाण्याचाही पर्याय खुला असल्याचे त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले. तसेच मतदारसंघातील विकासकामांना प्राधान्य असल्याचे सांगत वर्धा-नांदेड रेल्वे प्रकल्प, वाशीम MIDC आणि केंद्र व राज्य सरकारच्या सहकार्याचा उल्लेख त्यांनी केला.
